College Football Roadtrip - Coastal Carolina University - Conway, SC

Located in Conway, South Carolina, CCU is in a prime location, only 9 miles from Myrtle Beach, and about 27 minutes away from the country club areas of Pawleys Island. The campus itself was beautiful, in it's own little area somewhat bordered from the surrounding area, with palmetto trees at every corner and beyond.

with Men's and Woman's (and Club) sports participating in multiple different conferences (dominantly the Sun Belt Conference), CCU has some pristine facilities, and Brooks Stadium (football) is not a stop you'll want to pass up, with an amazing Teal and Gold Colored field, A Chanticleer Statue out front, and a little beach at one end of the field!

Right next door to Brooks Stadium, is Springs Brooks Stadium - Vrooman Field, Home of the CCU Baseball Team, who won the 2016 Men's College World Series Nation Championship!

All through #TealNation, you'll see a community with great pride in their local University, and potentially even more so now that the Football team competes at the Division 1 FBS level (as do the rest of the school's athletics) since 2017 (other sports D1 start time may vary)

You can catch serious Chanticleer fever all the way along the coast, from Conway, to Myrtle Beach, from local business displaying team flags in their windows and on their walls and ceilings, sponsored billboards all around town, and even a "Teal Nation" Team Shop across the street from the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Minor League Baseball) Stadium, at Myrtle Beach's famous "Broadway at the beach" shopping and attraction plaza!
